Hospice and Palliative Medicine
Palliative care has expanded to assist persons affected by other serious illnesses like neurological disorders. Patients and families affected by neurological conditions have significant and unique needs, including hard-to-control symptoms, long disease course, uncertain prognosis and caregiver strain.
Our goal is to improve the lives of patients and families struggling with any neurological or neurosurgical condition. Treatment may include medical symptom management, psychosocial assistance, and spiritual support.
