Research Interests for Patients

Our research group is focused on biological mechanisms involved in healthy aging and age-related neurodegenerative diseases, using biomarkers, neuropathology and animal models. I have a specific focus on Down syndrome-related Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease to detect early biomarkers and investigate novel treatment paradigms.
