Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical interests lie in providing innovative and minimally invasive treatment options for early stage gastrointestinal cancers (esophageal, gastric, colon and rectum) and for pancreatobiliary diseases. I also have interest in endoscopic options for management of obesity and metabolic conditions. I offer a wide variety of gastrointestinal endoscopic services including ERCP, EUS (endoscopic ultrasound); enteroscopy, endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic resection of large polyps and pre-cancerous conditions including EMR, ESD, EFTR, endoscopic management of motility disorders (POEM for Achalasia, Zenkers repair, gastroparesis), endoscopic weight loss therapies (endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), revision of gastric bypass using transoral outlet reduction (TORe) procedure) and endoscopic ablation therapies (radiofrequency ablation and cryotherapy).
Care Philosophy
My passion lies in providing the best care to my patients. The care that is evidence based and tailored to the needs of my patients. I believe that it is a privilege and honor to care for another human and I aspire to provide every patient the care I would want for my loved ones.

Research Interests for Patients
My research interests are primarily focused on three broad themes. 1) My work focuses on research in early detection and management of early stage GI tract cancers (esophageal, gastric and colorectal) and I study the techniques to improve early detection of GI tract cancers and focus on evaluating techniques on minimally invasive strategies in managing early stage GI cancers. 2) I also focus on gastrointestinal endoscopic innovation studying and evaluating minimally invasive endoscopic tools to treat gastroenterological and pancreatobiliary conditions. 3) Innovations in medical education, clinical scholarship and curriculum development.
