My current research is focused on 1) Clinical trials on therapeutic agents for emerging infections 2) Understanding the role of immunocompromised states in clinical presentation of various infections 2) Exploring potential biomarkers for diagnosing various types of infections based on host immune response 3) Frailty, neurocognitive changes following acute infections.
